The Process:
You will be assigned a case manager whom will receive your medical records. They will then email the doctors directly to ask them questions, and follow the process step by step. Pathway International will help with all of your travel arrangements. From having someone at the airport to pick you up on arrival and take you to your hotel , or to the hospital depending on your situation, to making sure that you have someone who speaks English, French or another language (as needed) available to assist you with any questions or problems you have any time of the day.
As you browse through our website you will find many different procedures we can help you with. Even if a procedure may not be listed on our website we are still able to help. With our connections in the medical arena we are able to find a state-of-the-art facility that can help you with just about any procedure you can think of.
A member of the Pathway International team has visited each and every hospital. Most of the surgeons that Pathway International work, are on a first name basis with them. It is a policy for Pathway International to make sure that the hospitals are clean, safe and of high quality. We also find it important to experience travelling to that country ourselves and see how difficult it is to get to the hospital from the airport, how comfortable the hotels are, assess the food, the language and the airport policies. It is important for us that when sending someone to a hospital or clinic abroad they are able to communicate with the doctors and nurses. We make sure that you will not be sent to a country where you are unable to communicate with anyone. Travelling abroad can be overwhelming, and to know that you will have someone there to guide you who is able to speak your native tongue will be a huge comfort.
Costs:
We will get an estimate of your costs from the hospital before you travel, and your payment will be made to the hospital, when you are ready to be discharged.
